Did any
incident make you think, “Wait, I have said this earlier, I have done this
earlier,” “It’s Déjà vu?” I guess everybody did experience this at least once
in their lifetime. Many people often have this feeling of reliving some part of
their life.
I watched
this movie, “Maanaadu,” some time ago; it made me think, what if we are living
our lives in a loop and going through similar events repeatedly, trying to
learn to defend ourselves better each time we come back here on Earth. Has it
ever occurred to you that the birth and death cycle that the Bhagavadgeeta
mentions may be the time loop that we keep going through but in different
bodies?
It may seem
very far-fetched but think about it, the four Yugas, are said to repeat in the
cycle of destruction and birth of the universe occurring every time.
Multiverse, if you think without getting influenced by the western way of
depicting it, was presented in our ancient scriptures long ago.
What if the
different Loka’s mentioned in the scriptures were different dimensions? Why
not? To reach higher dimensions, we needed to cleanse our soul, body and mind,
leave the body and mind and transcend through the soul. The Bhagavadgita gives
us accurate instructions to follow so that, we break this supposed time loop of
birth and death and reach the highest dimension and merge with the all-powerful
creator.
The next
time you feel that you have said this already, try and understand that the
universe is giving you another chance to break free from the loop. Try and give
a different response, or think before you give the same response. Maybe the
universe is asking you to pause, retrospect and act differently. Have you ever
thought of it this way?
